Gravata Fruit Plant

Gravata – Bromelia antiacantha is a ultra rare tropical plant from Brazil. It belongs to the same species as pineapple. It is also called as wild pineapple, gravata, caraguata

The plant grows upto 1 meter in height, native to various regions of Brazil. It produces large clusters of small, round, yellow fruits. These are succulent, sweet-sour. They can be eaten raw, in juices, jellies, and sweets.

This plant is fast-growing and fruiting, it begins producing fruit in 1 to 2 years after planting. Easy to grow and very hardy, accepting most soils, except for waterlogged ones. It should be planted in full sun.
