Lemon Vine Fruit Plant

The Lemon Vine creates a beautiful foliage plant with its yellow to bronze and even orange, thick succulent leaves that adorn this vining tropical cactus. Makes a wonderful hanging basket, allow it to spill from mixed containers, or train it as a vine. More light produces richer foliage color. Mature plants may produce white to pale yellow flowers in spring or fall that may be followed by small cactus fruits

Provide the Lemon Vine with a well-draining cactus like soil mix for the best results. Allow the soil to become moderately dry between waterings particularly when not in active growth in winter. A close cousin of the Rose Cactus, the Lemon Vine is a true cactus that still has true leaves and considered one of the oldest cactus members of the cactus family. The flowers are considered fragrant and the fruit and leaves are edible. Easy to grow and share.
