Dried Bay Leaves

Indian bay leaf also referred as Tejpatta (or Tejpat) is the most common name for the leaves of the Cinnamomum tamala (Indian cinnamon or cassia) tree. Cinnamon leaves (Bay Leaves) are the aromatic foliage of the cinnamon tree and are widely used in cooking and herbal medicine. Depending on the species and the region, they are primarily known by the following names
